BabyVibe is operated by BabyVibe App Inc. (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the BabyVibe mobile application (“App”) and related services.
If you have any questions, you can contact us at: Email: [email protected].
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account details (name, email address, password)
- Baby profile information (name/nickname, birth date, optional photo, and other fields you choose to enter)
- Logs and entries you add to the App (feeding, sleep, diaper/potty logs, growth/measurements, milestones, planner tasks, notes)
- Caregiver collaboration information (caregiver profiles, invitations you send, and access/permission choices you set)
- Support messages you send to us (for example, when you contact support)
1.2 Baby, Mom, and Caregiver Wellness Data (Sensitive Data)
BabyVibe is a tracking tool. Some information you enter may relate to health and wellness and may be considered “sensitive” in some regions. We only collect this information when you choose to enter it.
- Baby data: feeding logs (bottle amounts in oz/ml, nursing duration), sleep logs, diaper logs, growth records (weight, height, head circumference), milestones, “Sick Notes” entries (for example: sick date, temperature readings, medications, and free‑text notes), and optional notes.
- Mom wellness data (optional): mood/energy, sleep, hydration, pumping sessions, activity, and mom health entries you add (for example period dates, weight, recovery notes, medications, additional notes, and “Sick Notes” entries such as sick date, temperature readings, medications, and free‑text notes).
- Caregiver data: caregiver profiles (name/role label), invitation and access/permission settings, and account details for caregivers who sign in.
Please do not include highly sensitive information in free-text fields unless necessary (for example: government IDs, financial account details, or other highly sensitive personal data).
1.3 Photos and Media Uploads
BabyVibe may request access to your device photo library only when you choose to upload a photo (for example, to upload a baby profile photo).
- BabyVibe does not scan your full photo library.
- BabyVibe only processes the specific files you select for upload.
- Uploaded media is stored via our file upload/storage provider (see “Third‑Party Services” below). We store the resulting media URL and any related metadata needed to show it inside the app.
1.4 Automatically Collected Information
- Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version)
- Basic log data that may be collected by our hosting provider when you use the app (for example, IP address, timestamps, and requested endpoints)
- Timezone information: we may receive your device timezone offset (for example, tzOffsetMinutes) so logs and charts display correctly for your local day. This helps ensure “today” and “yesterday” are accurate. We do not use timezone for advertising or location tracking.
1.5 Notifications and Device Tokens
If you enable notifications, the App may collect and store a push notification token (such as an Expo push token) so we can send notifications to your device.
Examples of notifications include: vaccination reminders, milestones, and other reminders you enable in the app. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
1.6 Cookies (Web Pages)
If you use BabyVibe’s web pages (for example, account pages), we may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for sign-in/session handling and basic site operation.
2. Explicit User Consent and Controls
BabyVibe is designed to request consent before collecting certain types of data.
- Health/WELLNESS data: before you start logging sensitive baby or mom health-related information, the app may present a clear consent screen explaining what is collected and how it is used.
- Photo library access: the app explains why access is needed when you initiate an upload.
- Notifications: the app explains why notifications are requested and you can opt out at any time.
You can review and change your consent choices in the app under Legal → Privacy & Consent. You may also request deletion or withdraw consent by deleting your account or contacting us.
3. Data Minimization
BabyVibe aims to collect only what is needed to provide tracking and collaboration features. Many fields (especially notes and mom wellness features) are optional. You can leave optional fields blank.
4. Third‑Party Services
We use trusted third‑party providers to operate BabyVibe, including:
- Resend for email delivery (for example, account emails)
- Uploadcare for user-selected photo uploads
- Cloud hosting and database providers to run the app and store your data
- Expo Notifications and platform push services (Apple Push Notification service and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver notifications
These providers may process your data on our behalf under confidentiality and security agreements. When we use third parties to process data, we require them to provide appropriate safeguards.

5.1 Health Data Use Restrictions
Baby and mom health/wellness data (feeding, sleep, growth, pumping, period tracking, mood, sick notes, etc.) is used ONLY to provide the App’s tracking features and to help you manage health and wellness inside the App.
We do not use health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell health data.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Sharing Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Service providers (email, hosting, storage, notifications)
- Legal authorities when required
- A successor operator if BabyVibe is transferred (for example, if the app is sold)

7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

BabyVibe operates globally. Your data may be stored or processed in countries outside your region, including the United States and Canada.
We use contractual protections (such as Data Processing Agreements and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses) and secure cloud infrastructure to help keep your data protected.
12. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
BabyVibe is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
- All baby-related data is provided by the parent or guardian, not the child.
- If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly.
- Parents may request deletion of any baby profile data at any time.
If you believe a child has provided data directly, contact us immediately at: [email protected].
13. User-Generated Text and Content Guidelines
Some areas of the App allow you to enter your own text (for example, notes, descriptions, and support messages). You are responsible for what you submit.
- We do not permit content that is hateful, harassing, abusive, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise offensive or derogatory.
- To help keep BabyVibe safe, we may review user-submitted content when necessary to respond to support requests, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our Terms.
- If we believe content violates our policies or the law, we may remove it, restrict access, suspend accounts, and/or report it where required.
